Small Tales Update

My Small Tales partner Vince Ferraro has posted a little tribute to the e-reader over on the Small Tales Blog.  For those of you still clinging to your paper books in fear of e-reading, I can only ask, why are you blogging and reading blogs?  It's the way of the future, and it's how we will be publishing Small Tales, so if you don't want to miss out on some fantastic short stories, get on over there and see what Vince has to say.

And don't forget, we're accepting short story submissions through May 31.

Blogs are like quickies, you don't need to remember their name. Books... the paper in your hands, it's intimate, personal, like the experienced lover you don't want to let go off.

I don't do e-reader... but for you Matt, I'll check out your Small Tails, ahem, I mean Small Tales. ;)

I think that books and ereaders will be sharing the future for a while. As hardware-heavy as books can be, they've got a user-friendly interface figured out, and I'm not sure that e-readers are there yet, though they're still coming up fast. Actually, that reminds me of the story (Asimov) where two horny academics get the Nobel prize for re-inventing books, because everybody is so tired of hunching over microfiche readers. ;)

That's great - congratulations on this little bit of your dream!

I'm starting up a 'Critiquing and Supportive Crusaders' program, where participants in the Second Crusade can find other writers to exchange critiques with or form supportive critiquing circles. If you're interested, come by The Kelworth Files to check it out!
